Here are my most worn eyeshadows in 2011. Ive really liked more natural shades just to apply all over the lid, and then just pick whatever color to put in my crease. The two palette's I know I mentioned in a blog post before but I had to include them because they have been greatly loved!
1. The Balm Shady Lady Vol 2 Palette
-All of the color's are very pigmented and its easy to get several looks from this palette.
2.Wet n Wild "Vanity" Palette
- I've mentioned this palette before, I really love all of the shades in it. The matte vanilla color,the dark brown, and the bronze shade are my favorite. All the colors are very pigmented also.
3. Victoria's Secret eyeshadow in "Primal"
This is a velvet eyeshadow. Its kind of a brownish purple with a little red in it. Super pigmented and easy to blend. I have been loving putting it into my crease with a light color on my lid.
4. Maybelline Eye Studio eyeshadow in "Khaki Craze"
This is suppose to be 2 eyeshadows, but i like to mix the 2 together and create a really pretty olive green look on the eyes. Its also very pigmented, with a really pretty shimmer to it.
3.Wet n Wild eyeshadow in "Nutty"
This is a really gorgeous Taupe color. I like to apply it all over the lid or in the crease, its pretty both ways. Also pigmented and has a sorta sheen to it. Great for an everyday look.
4,5,6,7. MAC eyeshadows in "Naked Lunch","Soft Brown","Tempting",and "All That Glitters".
- I have loved wearing all of these shades all over the lid, as kind of an everyday look. I wore "Tempting" more in the summer its a gorgeous bronze lustre shade, "Soft Brown" I wear more to blend out my crease shades. "Naked Lunch" and "All That Glitters" are beautiful frosty pinkish brown shades very similar but do look different on your eyes.
All of the single eyeshdows swatched on my arm in this order:
Nutty, All That Glitters,Soft Brown,Tempting,Primal, Naked Lunch,and Khaki Craze.
*Honorable mention goes to Covergirl eyeshadow in "Champagne" and Revlon Matte eyeshadow in "Vintage Lace". I used either one or the other everyday on all of my makeup looks as a highlight. Sadly they are both gone and I need to repurchase!
